“I was raised and born in Haiti. I am extremely grateful that I got to experience Haiti without any technology because I got the privilege of knowing about a lot of skills and life lessons. Since the age of 7 my grand parents and my parents started to teach me the benefits of our herbs And the richness of our precious land. Although I hated how as a girl they were always teaching me on how to be a future wife/mother but I am extremely grateful for every tradition that my parents passed down to me. The way Haitian girls are raised automatically taught us how to be mature specially if they were raised in the countryside.”
